wife + mother-in-law + groceries vs. neighbor = fun!

Post by ScottS »

My wife just got back from 'sams club' and she told me a very funny story. She was turning left out of a parking lot and she was trying to merge back into traffic from the "left hand turn" lane when a white civic whips into the spot in traffic that she was waiting to get into. Now this wasn't that big a deal until she noticed that the civic was my idiot nieghbor from across the street. Let me tell you about this nieghbor... he has a late 90s civic with a very loud grape fruit shooter, an aftermarket spoiler, and hubcaps. He annoys us because whenever he gets home he revs his civic 3 times before he shuts it down...I don't know why... he just does. My wife was ready to show him what our little sleeper could do. She hit lift in first and second.. passed him and beat him into the left turn lane at the next light. They both turned left.. she got into the right lane and sped up a bit then threw it in second and listened. She could her his loud exhaust and his motor at redline. She punched it hit lift and pulled on him BIG TIME! He was so embarassed that he used an alley to avoid lining up against her at the next light. I guess he was pretty pissed off too!I love it when my wife rags on the vibe.... but I do wish it had been me that was racing the idiot nieghbor.

Hey, Tell your great job from me . I hate all these "ricers" in the Detroit Metropolitan Area. Horrible drivers. I was wondering, what color was that Civic and where exactly are guys in Redford? I"m in Dearborn Heights, over by 94 and telegraph.Inder Singh

It was a white civic...and I can't stress how stupid the stock wheel covers look on this thing! As far as our location the Wife and I live between inkster and beech, and between plymouth and west chicago. Not too bad of an area really.

Ahhhhh, another one bites the dust. Silly ricers. They think they are so cool, until you beat them in your moms Buick Park Avenue. Sweet victory. Kudos to your wife! That story got us all here in my work section riled as ever. It was us vs. 3 of the ricers amoung us. All show and no go we said, so one of them wanted to race at lunch time. My friends celica GTS, vs. his Tiburon rice machine. No contest, the tiburon turned after we passed him and he claims he was going that way to the store and wasn't racing anymore. Yeah right. The 2zz is a beast.

Only 2 things here from me. One, this has to be one of the greatest thread titles ever. And two, is your wife for hire as a personal driver? It would entertain the hell out of me to drive around once in a while and sit back and laugh as your wife "fries the rice" with my Vibe. Tell her Stang says "job well done"!

Be sure to tell your wife awesome job from everyone at GenVibe! Maybe that will shut his three engine revs up for a little while.
