Paint color ?

I have a Fusion Orange Vibe GT 04.. the dealer gave me touch up paint... it says its Sunburst Orange.. Is this the same color?? It looks close.. but unsure... and don't want to have a two tone orange car... thanks for any input... oh btw the dealer of course said its the same color... but... ya know..

I have the same color car. The color the dealer touched up my car with (it had door dings before I got it) was a near match, but a bit more yellow. It's not the same, but you probably won't notice it unless you already know it's there or you're looking very very closely.

I had a similar experience with my dealer. I have a Satellite vibe and they gave me silver paint. It’s close but I think it’s a little brighter than Satellite.

Does the paint code on your touch-up paint match that on your glovebox label? I remember seeing some Chevrolet trucks a while back with a color called "Sunburst Orange" which looked awfully like Fusion. Could very well be the same color/different name.When I went to the dealer asking for some touch up paint for my car, I mentioned it was "Neptune." He looked it up in his book, but found nothing of the sort - nowhere was "Neptune" listed. I gave them the paint code, and they found a match in a bottle of "Dark blue metallic" or something like that.IIRC, the book that the parts guy was looking at didn't list any of the names of the colors that we are familiar with.

The Chevrolet Colorado has a sunburst orange.. and its close but not the same color...I did not check the paint codes.. but I put some on the car and its noticible diferent.. I showed the dealer ... and they said they will order the right color....
