wahoo, if you find 94 octain premium, tell me what it does to a base vibe with a CAI..i dono if it would make a difference but possibly a 1/4 tank fill up when you almost dry wouldnt be too expensive to atleast try it out would it?!
Nice install there, a lot better then your home made flopping around short ram eh? I think that was yours at the meet. Sounds pretty good eh? I can experience the difference with mine in the power even though some would argue there isn't any.I drove another 5 spd base today without an intake, the car is so quiet and so slow... no response or take off... he needs an intake.

the dyno i saw for a XRS, which is still a similar engine if not completly the same, still they power increase in the 3500 to 5500 RPMS was really significant, grr cant find the picture!! o well i remember it was a good improvment in low end hp and tourqe, EDIT: here is the pic! as well i just noticed that includes *TRD* exhaust, hmm, which is how goood of exhaust?!?

Sorry for the ignorance, but can anyone tell me exactly what the pros/cons are by installing a CAI injector? I'm not even certain what it is right now except that many people are installing it.I assume it helps on the hp, but does it come at the expense of lower mpg?

The gas mileage depends some people say it went up some say down (not much about 1-2mpg) but you will most likely go down since it makes a loud sucking noise so I personnaly step on the gas just to hear it (wasting gas) and I know other members do the same. For more info read thishttp://www.injen.com/questions.htmlA cold air intake is a system to bring down the temperature of the air going into the car engine, it lets you have maximum flow and temperature on your car. The purpose is to change the look of your factory intake and still make a power gain. They come in many different colors and many different sizes. They make a hissing noise while sucking in the air to mix with the fuel. Overall a cold air intake looks good and performs well, for not a lot of money. A cold air intake is better than a short ram because a short ram sucks in lots of engine heat.
