Greetings

Post by GigaShadow »

I had no idea that a Vibe enthusiasts forum existed. My wife and I have two cars - I drive an 04 Audi A4 quattro and she drives the 03 Vibe - Abyss, 17 inch factory rims 5sp.I also had no idea people actually tuned these cars. This is great site and it does have a lot to offer those who seek answers to questions about this car. Now I have a rant...I must admit I like the looks of the car, but it has god awful perfomance. I absolutely detest driving the car for its lack of pick up. Don't get me wrong - I think the car is great (it looks good, it gets great gas mileage and it is quite functional). I just wish Pontiac would have given the base car a little more power to make it fun to drive. I don't feel like spending $3000 on a SC and I know that is one answer - does anyone have any other ideas on how to get a little more pep out of these cars? The attached picture is of her Vibe and my old Jetta VR6.

Welcome aboard you won't hear us say your wrong when it comes to Vibe performance but there are ways of increasing some power, cold air intake and an exhaust system are pretty cheap mods you can do both for under a $1000 depending on the brand.

Welcome. There are both enthusiasts and fanatics here.
