interested in a vibe..please help

Post by dabenzboy »

Hi, i really need a new car and i need ur help. A couple days ago i was minutes away from buying a mitsubishi lancer. They are cheap as hell and i was gonan strip everything out but my dad called me and said he has a $3500 GM rebate from his credit card. I don't like american cars and they are expensive for a little college kid but the rebate helps a lot. They only car i seem to like is the vibe (the gt model) and it sounds really nice. Do you guys recommend me getting that? Also, do they have a lot of aftermarket parts or at least planned to have the parts? Any advice would be appreciated. Please email me at kim8@tcnj.edu or reply soon, thanks! P.S. that six speed sounds sooooo nice

Welcome to the board dabenzboy!Have you test drove a Vibe yet? You would definately want to test drive one before making a decision on whether or not you actually like the vehicle.I personally love the Vibe for its sporty-good looks, great handling for a wagon, interior space and immenities are great for the price. As for the aftermarket parts, they seem to be popping up continuously. Be sure to check out the OEM and Aftermarket Enhancements forums here and browse to see if what you are looking for is currently available or planned for the future.Good luck in your endeavor and ask questions. That's why we are all here.

Aftermarket parts are going to be plentiful in months to come. Many companies are working on, or all ready have parts available. You might look into the Vibe instead of the Vibe GT if your going to want to run a turbo or supercharger on it though. The compression is lower than the GT so it'll be easier to run forced induction. Plus the price is lower. Get the MONO TONE PAINT OPTION! That way the whole vehicle will be the same color. If you plan to just do normal bolt ons then I would go with the GT if you can afford the extra money for it.

If you are looking for one soon, you had better find one on the car lot. Delivery of a factory order is extensively long at this time. I'm at 12 weeks and counting. Expecting delivery in early September!!Base Salsa Two-tone, 5-speed, Power package, 16" alum. rims.
