Lava, I never get any popups on this site, it sounds like you may have spyware that creates popups. If you want to get rid of spyware, there are 2 great FREE programs (I suggest if you use them and like them to donate to the authors) The first, Spybot Search and Destroy,

After the scan is finished, click on the fix selected problems. The second, is Spyware Blaster, if updated regularly, it will stop spyware from being installed get it here.

While typical spyware may collect generic usage statistics, this one transmits not only lists of sites visited, but also the user’s name and e-mail address, a list of programs the user has installed, printers, processor speed, amount of hard drive space, and memory.
