My dad just got back from school and called me to let me know about it (it's great having a dad that is a Toyota Tech ) Here is the scenario: When driving at night with the headlights on, set the cruise control. After setting the cruise flash your high beams, if the engine surges, you have the problem. You will need to take your car to the dealership and get a new ECU installed......... The part number for the ECU is 89666-02162 You may have to pressure the dealership a bit as this just came across the wire on Friday 11/1, so it is VERY new.

What do they mean by surging ahead? Does the car just keep accellerating? Geez that would be rather alarming!
