Just found the forum. Never really thought about looking for a Vibe forum but was googling accessories and found it.I have an 03 Vibe GT, just like the Blue one above the forum. All I've added to it so far is a bra. Which turned out to be really expensive. Worked on a car with self supporting hood one day. Installed the bra on my car the next day and got excited to see what it looked like. Well was used to the self supporting hood and the post is so far back on the support I forgot about it. Hood folds up rather easily. Yes I know, what an idiot. About made me sick as I had the car for only a month. By the way your looking at about $850 for new hood and painting if you need a new one.So far I had to have the stereo replaced under warranty and some of the side trim replaced. Also purchased new tires and rims for winter driving. Didn't think I was going to live through the day the first time I went out with the factory 17" tires in 3 inches of snow.I love my vibe, but I have a couple issues and was wondering if some one could point me to good threads on solutions.1. Take off. When I need to get going in a hurry, I almost always burn the clutch. What's the recommended accessories for some more lowend torque so you don't have to bring the rpms up so much.2. I live in the country with lots of deer and other animals around. Wondering about some good replacement lights for better lighting.3. I live about a quarter mile down a dirt road and the rocks are chewing the hell out of my trim around the wheels. Imagine I can just get some mud flaps to fix that.

Ok, Ignore #1. I read the 8 pages of clutch issues on another forum.

Welcome to the forum! I'd say just keep working on getting the "feel" right for the clutch engagement. Sorry to hear about your hood...stuff happens. You could order an SLP hood. Sloth, What kind of tires and wheels did you buy? I am looking into that as well. Also, dumb question, but did you buy all 4?

How are things out in Chadron, NE. I'm originally from Omaha and the folks still live in Fremont. Go Big Red. I'm stuck in Nittany Lion Country.

Silvania Silverstars give off great light, but there's a longetivity issue. They only last about 7 months, it seems. Eurolite, Streetglow, and others like that aren't as bad as far as longetivity goes, but you get different 'color'.

We used to call 3 inches flurries too. Winters aren't what they used to be though. I bought Blizzaks and some cheep rims(sport edition valore) from tirerack. Yes I did buy all 4. I tried to buy 2, but they won't sell 2 unless you are replacing ones you already bought. Kind of hard to swing that lie when I bought them as it was the first winter vibes were out. Can't say enough good things about my experience with tirerack. Wheels came mount and balanced and they called me about 3 times just to make sure my experience was good.YES, I am a die hard husker fan as well. Just saw Steve Pederson and Coach Callahan speak about a week ago downtown during the husker nation tour. One thing I like about Pederson is he doesn't ignore this side of the state.Huskerpt, sorry to hear about the Nittany Lion Country. It could be worse though you could be in Austin TX.By the way Chadron is draughting hard. We had about 4 inches of ran until last Wednesday. When we got 4 inches of rain in about 45 minutes.

Sloth, Yeah, I am in Nittany Lion country, but the Huskers play at Pittsburgh this fall and I am looking to buy tickets. Won't be near as good as the home games, but Nebraska always travels well.
