Monotone - What pieces are painted?

My local dealer has a GT on the lot, Neptune, with the monotone option. Thing is, the "PONTIAC" panel above the rear license plate mounting is gray! I have seen other monotone Vibes, and this piece has always been painted the body color. Any comment or experience from other monotone owners here? Might this be a factory error? - ESJ

I'd also like to know if the mirrors should be colourmatch on the monotone. Thanks. I do know that the door handles should be the same colour as the door.

The mirrors are (on all models) all the shiny black finish, no matter what color, 2-tone or monotone.

The rail and truck companies need to get their acts together. I cringe when I think about mine (now hopefully in transport) getting smashed up like that. No way would I allow the dealer to fix it and then accept it as new. - ESJ
