GT axle hop?

Has anyone noticed that the front axle seems to go into some sort of resonance? When I launch on wet or somewhat cold roads (lower traction) with about 2500 showing on the tach, as soon as the front tires break free, the front end of the car just sounds like it's going to shake itself to bits. This has only happened twice because I'm not very fond of the noise. Not really a problem on High coeff. surfaces - not really a lot of prolonged wheelspin there...

i could be wrong but i think thats just a front wheel drive for ya. there's alot more weight(motor and transmission) on the front wheels, then when you spin the rear wheels of a sport car or truck. i think the weight cuases that shakes motion. Greg

I get the same thing when I take off. Had it happen a few times on dry roads as well when I spun the tires on launch. Figured it had to do with the bigger wheels and tires.
