YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!
Now I wish I still had the box for my front end cover, because I'm sure it had an interesting graphic on the label too.I think it's a code of some sort. I've never bought a GM air filter, so I can't help you.

Its for the guys at the plant. Things are easier to sort for them with pics instead of numbers or letters. Guess GM doesn't have much confidence in their employees intellingence.

this is great, i never knew language followed a part:the fan part of a blower motor in the A/C is called a "squirrel cage". so my guess is it is a "squirrel filter" in the age of universal Iconsdoes that help? gee ragingfish, is that all you have to do is sit around and inspect.....oops, never mind. Ow that really hurt. we union workers at GM work with part numbers. we aren't illiterate like a major foreign auto maker stated in the news a few years back.I still think its a universal code so whomever makes it ( japan, taiwan, mexico, usa, ect...) knows its a filter for the car A/C. my $.02

One of my best friends works for Ford on the line and he's very intelligent. From what I've heard, that's what the icons were used for. I think its for packaging and stuff, I could be wrong though.
no problem, it sounded like a you were pickin an I was being sarcastic back. now back in the 70's with the frequent recreational drug and alcohol use i'm sure there were times we couldn't read the numbers. heh heh.
