Bassani Exhauat?

Post by nismo »

Hey there guys and gals,I've been cruzin the net lately and I race across this item.http://www.planetperformance.c...02572It's supposed to be an exhauat for the non-GT. My question is, has anyone ever heard of this company "Bassani"(SP). Let me know if anyone has any feedback about this product. O, by the way, this site has some great prices for parts for our car and the Matrix. Inder Singh

i dunno, it's pricey and the gains seem too good to be true.

yes, bassani makes decent exhausts from what i hear. borla, bassani, magnaflow, trd (think borla makes them and trd renames them) and flowmaster seem to be ones that i think of off the top of my head.

The good thing about this exhaust, which i see as a first, a lifetime warranty. I don't of many exhaust systems that offer a lifetime warranty. Am I right or? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Although I doubt it's a true cat-back, and w/o a dyno, I wouldn't buy it over Magnaflow's (which is also cheaper).

see if you can find info on its piping size, if your gonna do a easy install go for 60mm, thats as high asa you can go without needing any custom work, 70mm EVO II actually can give a 22hp gain, that sounds insane but the reason its possible on Vibes/Matrixs(atleast GT and XRS) is because the headers are so much more then they need to be for the stock exhaust, meaning when you get good exhaust your actually just opening up the true potential of the headers w00t personally id just go with magnaflow, cheaper, easy to install, and proven to do about 8hp gain to the wheels, but for god sakes see if you can find the pipe sizing

Bassani makes a great exhaust! And...if I'm not mistaken, they make it for TRD.Check it out http://www.bassani.com/default...sultsI ran their exhaust on my `94 Mustang, and used to get people at stoplights telling me that I had the sweetest sounding exhaust they had ever heard!I almost went with them on the exhaust for my Vibe GT (and would have been my first choice), but for advertising reasons, wwent with the Magnaflow exhaust (which is still very good!).
