center moulding strips on doors

Post by blake31 »

has anyone taken these off? is there just some 3m tape holing them on? would this take away too much character from the vibe?just wondering, because if someone wanted to put graphics on the side, it would help if those strips weren't there.

While they are held on by adhesive, there are "positioning pins" on the moulding that line up with holes in the door.In other words, removing the moulding will leave holes in your door panel.

While you're at it, shave the door handles.
