Attention those planning on Dave & Busters after the meet!!!!

OK. here's what i found out. i called dave & busters tonight on the way home. underagers are welcome as long as someone 25 or older is willing to vouch for them. each 25 yr old can sign in up to 4 underagers. paul, if you'd like to go i will sign for you, but if you get me in trouble i will kick your 6'+ (removed)! carrie will help me. they said if we have a group of 10-14 we should reserve a backgammon table so that we all can sit together. since it'll be sat night, there will be a long wait. we can also reserve a room, but that will cost some money! but if we have enough people, and spend $150 total, then it's waived.SO: WHO PLANS ON COMING TO D&B FOR DINNER AND FUN AFTER THE MEET????PLEASE POST! OK, here's the info i received from them.they recommend the backgammon table for our party, will seat up to 14 people so if not everyone comes, we will have some open spots. right now it's 13 folks including 2 maybe's. if we get the backgammon table, the minimum for the party is $150 plus tax and tip. i figure if we are ordering dinner and drinks... it will easily be $20 per person depending on HOW MANY drinks. food ranges from $7-15 per dinner depending what you order.i reserved the table for us for Sat, June 26 6-8pm. and if people DO NOT go please let me know NO LATER than Thursday 7pm EDT as i had to SIGN a contract and put $100 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit on it toward the $150 total required.

here's the menu they sent in PDF format. we can also preorder any appetizers before hand so they are ready to go. they require that EVERYONE be there by 6:15pm so they can get our order in. otherwise, i'm told by several MI members you'll be waiting about 2 hrs to get a seat on a Sat night. so avoid that and just book and let me know so i have spot for you. we've got 10 confirmed and 3 maybe's

sweet! i'll put you down. just found out that due to 2 plane probs, psychobroker will not make it. it's now 7pm in LA and he still hasn't left! so he isn't able to come now. but that's cool we can add you to our list. should be a great time!!!

Christian calls me on my cell at 7pm my time as I am on my way to the airport to pick up carrie and then wait for him and he says "we're still on the ground..."Apparently his first plane had wing problems so they all got loaded onto another airplane with an expected 1.5 hour delay. Which was fine really, he would arrive here after Carrie but not much later.But the second plane blew a tire on take off and had to return for an emergancy landing with an expected 4-5 hour delay... next plane out left 1pm tomorrow... just a little to late so he had to call it off... poor guy I'd have been very upset with the airline... and I think he was.
