The dealer I spoke with said something about sanding it down and then the paint should stick. Maybe some place that bakes the paint on after painting would help also.
Or we could just wait for someone to come out with the gtr body kit. APC already has one for the Matrix,I would hope to see one for the Vibe soon, but like all the other parts that come out for these cars we have to wonder if it will work with the Vibe.

Another thing to beware about is :When I took delivery of my vibe, 2 of the wheelwells were scratched. It took 3 weeks for the new parts to come in and they don't even match. The dealer said, "give it a month ans see if they fade. Otherwise we lwill replace everything".
For what it's worth, I asked a Vibe owner on another site how much he paid to have the lower body panels painted to match his Abyss Vibe. $1,300. He also mentioned it's been about 3 months since it was done and it's holding up.

Whoever does it make sure they use some kind of apoxy after it is sanded. That should make it last longer. Just sanding and painting won't do the trick.
Ok not sure how silly of a question this is, I have seen monotone vibes from distance but is the side molding plastic or are they different material than for the non-montone vibes?

I will go out on a limb and say it's just the grey cladding painted and finished to look and feel smooth.
