Hey guys, went to the Pontiac dealer today to check out what it would take to get into an '05 with leather and the sport body kit package, but it does have the ugly new front fascia (IMO). It would be about $70 more a month than my '03 for a '05 Lava GT, should I do it? Here is my current Vibe.
No - keep your current one. Is leather seats worth $70/month to put up with the ugly front end? It doesn't look nearly as sporty as the 03 and 04s... no sport body kit will help its looks.

Or, what you could do is, have GM order you the leather seats that they put in the Vibes and jus pay for those. May be a lil more pricey, but it will definitely save you from that unattractive front end.Inder Singh

Noooooooooo... don't do it! Put the $70/mo away towards your next vehicle. In 4 years you would have $3360 + interest. A new one would also cost you more for sales tax, insurance and yearly registration in some places.

NO!!! don't do it! check out my link and see what i did for mine! much much cheaper and much better looking (imho). plus, $70 more per month for how long??? that's a lot of money! and throwing all your equity away! for that you can just buy the body kit, get it painted, get the leather kit and have it installed for less than that $70/mo at whatever term!*edit* added a pic of the interior so you can get an idea.
Well I'll say try to make the decision based on a few more facts outside of the ugly facia. If you can afford it, and like all of the other new features then go for it.I'll admit something here that probably won't make me too popular. I bought my Vibe based on a preset citeria of features, not it's looks. In fact I can honestly say I was less than thrilled about it's appearance initially.Happily it has grown on me quite well since the purchase.

Don't forget, that new '05 GT has built-in tire pressure monitors..the newer white/red guages, the leather, optional Stabilitrak, and 8 hp less.Don't get it just because it's new.. if you want it for a certain feature, or because you like it, go for it. If you can afford to hold off to see maybe what they'll do with the '06, then hold off.. no reason to jump ahead unless there's real compelling reason to.
