I believe he may have also grown tired of dealing with the poop going on around here. DON'T quote me on that, that is just my opinion, hopefully it's not true

Finally back home, back at a computer, been a rough couple of weeks.Wish I could say that I was too heartbroken over imagining Hope and Mav together, that Hope jilted me for him and I couldn't face it till now ---------------------------------edit - some stuff deleted........ way too busy to be worried about posting here. Sorry folks, but I just forgot about genvibe for a couple of weeks. ......--------------------------------Nice that y'all missed me though. Good to be able to read all the posts, a lot since I was last able to be here, lot of catching up to do.Couple of things, what's all this bs about deleting threads? ^^ Lighten up! Stop trying to imagine that there is trouble, life's too short. I am perfectly capable of expressing myself, and have few reservations about doing so. If I got something to say, I don't need anybody to say it for me. Thanks though. So, when my flight landed, I needed to rent a car. Found a place that would rent me a 2004 camry for $20 /day. I asked and they said that they did in fact have Pontiac Vibes!. Then I found out that they wanted $60 /day for a Vibe, "because it's an SUV, and they cost a lot more" So I took the CamryCamry had some blind spots, made the one in the Vibe seem no big deal. Engine was gutless, but ran so quiet, a couple of times I couldn't tell if it was runnning. The headlight switch had 4 positions, off, DRL, parking and headlights. I am so accustomed to my auto headlights in the Vibe that I forgot to turn my headlights on a couple of times.Since I don't have the power package in my Vibe, I had a lot of fun playing with the power windows and the keyless entry stuff. Hit the rev limiter twice today in my vibe, I missed it.Turns out I left the sunroof open at the airport, collected a bunch of water, and a surprising number of cicadas at BWI. It rained steady here today, no chance to dry the thing out, hope the sun's out tomorrow. hope I can get it dried out before I have to go back.03Vibrator was the 2000th genvibe member, signed up a week ago. Now up to 2021! Doesn't anybody watch this stuff? passing 2000 should have triggered the fireworks or something Ok, off to shop vac some more water out of the carpet, again.carpe diem

Joatman,This thread certainly serves as a reality check. Kinda puts all that fussing most of us are doing about CAI, decals, which wheels to buy, tire life, or stone chips into the proper perspective.God's blessings on you and the family!

I'll second those last sentiments. I too am very sorry to hear of the great misfortune that has befell you and those around you. I hope and pray for you that everything will turn out for the best, even if it does not immediately appear to be doing so.Very glad to see you back as well. I very much missed my fellow banterer of opposing views.

Did I really get a thread deleted? I just wanted to talk about mufflers...I can't wait to see your car if you put a CAI in as a replacement muffler. How many HP does that get you? If you replace the exhaust with a CAI, I bet you could pop a wheelie when you hit lift in reverse. That would be really cool.
