Looks like it's going to be a while before I'm able to by and install my SC, so I'm going to get a CAI and change it out whenever I get the SC.My question is, with everyones experience here what CAI have you determined to be the best performing?TRDK&N TyphoonIngenCozmoAnd whic is better for power and performance the longe or short throw? Thanks for your advice,Alex

Personally, I use an AEM CAI, and it works great. K&N and Injen also make top-quality products.Edit: Oh, and a short ram won't give you as much performance as a full CAI will.

i've got the TRD cai. got a CEL on it after a few days, but only the GT's have that issue. added a unichip and no more CEL. lots of threads on cai vs sr. if you want best performance, go cai. if you want ease of getting to the filter, go w/ a sr.

We'll let you know how it turns out. It's not that bad really, if you search for the posts, (I'm too lazy, it's 2 A.M. and I have to be up in 4 hours) you will find great pictured instructions. it's all pretty close to common sense. i know squat about cars, but the cai install just made sense. the hardest part is wrestling the damn tube into position. it seems as though it won't fit, but it does, just keep tryin'!
