Beer

Post by abe98gt »

Yesterday, scientists for Health Canada suggested that men should take a look at their beer consumption, considering the results of a recent analysis that revealed the presence of female hormones in beer. The theory is that drinking beer makes men turn into women. To test the finding, 100 men were fed 6 pints of beer each. It was then observed that 100% of the men gained weight, talked excessively without making sense, became overly emotional, couldn't drive, failed to think rationally, argued over nothing and refused to apologize when wrong. No further testing is planned

Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed. Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, "It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver." --by Jack HandyI feel sorry for people who don't drink. Beer makes man think, thought makes man wise, wisdom makes life endurable.I don’t drink much beer. I enjoy the 2 greatest contributions Canada has made to the world……Crown Royal and Canada Dry ginger ale. We can’t claim the ice, but we have lots of it.This must be in a heavy glass with high lead content. I like the sound of big ice hitting a heavy glass….glass must be full to the top with ice. Then fill half way with C R, No shot glass here. Then a splash of Canada Dry to 7/8 full. Chug.

Never mind, back on topic. You and my mrs. would get along, I prefer Lake Superior water with my Whiskey. To get back to the beer. It is the one alcoholic beverage that I have stayed true to, even if my brands have evolved. When I was young I favored the clear, weak tasting stuff (though never light) like bud, blue, and now I go for the dark Irish stuff like Guinness, Kilkenny, Rickard's Red, Mick's Red. Maybe it is the wear, tear and age because I pepper everything I eat now too. This thread is making me thirsty.Cheers!

Ooooo baby, I'm going to Germany in the near future and the beer is great. I'll be doing nothing but drinking and peeing....and a little work too. Not Heineken or Guiness though.

This would explain why my friends all turn into sentimental little S**T HEADS when they drink beer.

Just give me a 5th of Cuervo and I'm fine. No fruit or salt, just Cuervo.
