ok no one north of Georgia will know what I am talkingabout, but does any one in Fl,Ga,have any thoughts on how to safely remove these things once they have glued themselves to my Vibe?My old saturn I just...scraped them and paint off. What does everyone else do?
I bought a LeBra front end cover to use on long trips where bugs and chips would be a factor. It is about $70 but is worth it in my opinion. All you do to remove bugs with this is take it to the car wash and apply high pressure water.I used to live in FL, so i know all about your bug problems......FL has the biggest and fastest roaches i have ever seen in my life.....
I agree. Try a local quarter operated high pressure car wash. Then when you get home, if there is any remaining "bug residue", clean it off with a bug and tar remover.

There's some stuff specially formulated to remove bugs, they make it in Armor-All-type wipes, spray, aeresol, etc. Check in the auto department of Wal-Mart, Autozone, etc. Also, check out the detailing thread by Poopypants, he has some good tips on how to remove them (Note that to use his way, there are some things you must do to protect your paint from being damaged)
