Part Number Needed

Post by mwebb »

If I am not crazy I seem to recall someone posting a picture of GM switches that fit in the panel where the hatch release is. I have not been able to find this post.Does anyone know if there is such a switch?and possibly a part #?Thanks in advance

I don't recall anything about SWITCHES, but I did order some blank plates from GM and picked up a switch at radio shack that fit perfectly. The part number for the blank inserts is:88970565, Blank Cover, Hatch Button Panel ($2.75)

Back in the "auto headlights: evil or misunderstood" thread, here's the info for the Toyota fog light switch that will fit there... Not aware of anything from GM that will fit there, other than the hatch glass release like scherry mentioned.http://forums.genvibe.com/zero...age=2Toyota part #00550-42966http://www.4x4wire.com/toyota/...t.jpgI found one at Pep Boys that fits right in there, I posted a pic of it in that thread. It was around $8. Hope that helps!
