i had my tires rotated yestaurday i'm at 12000 Km's and i take the same way to work everyday on the highway driving the same way, after i had the tires rotated yestaurday i experienced alot of vibration coming from the steering wheel at highway speeds, up untill now i have never had vibration like that it was so much that i had to change hands because it would be vibrating my whole hand too much. any ideas what i should go back to the dealer to say. i'm guessing there gonna tell me to get my alignment done but it's only 3 months old and just started happening after they rotated the tires. any help would be appreciated

This is the dealer that rotated the tires? I'd have them rebalance the tires and you should be fine. You shouldn't have that much vibration.
What kind of tires?I recall Nick having a similar problem with his Yokohamas...It could be one of those things that takes a week or two to work itself out while the tires "reseat" themselves...
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!
lose tire or a tire that needs to rewear now that its in a different spot. Rear tires if not reularly rotated (fwd vehicles) can wear rough over time. When they get rotated, they vibrate. A rebalance may not fix your vibration.

yeah it is all the stock tires and rims i just had them rotated, i can't see them as being lose all the plastic caps are on the lug nuts though, i was guessing they might be uneven tires but even then it should be aligned properly cause it's new, i'll see what there like after a few hundred kms i guess
uneven wear on the rear wheels will correct itself after a little bit of driving. Guess thats why rotations are recommended every 10,000km. Course that won't work for me. I don't have the original wheels and rotate my tires as summer tires, winter tires lol

When I had my stock 17" Dunlops returned to their rightful place on my Vibe after the long winter I had more vibration than normal for a few days. Now that I think about it, I should have been a little more diligent about checking what the rotation procedures are when they swap winter tires for summer and vice versa (advice is welcome ). It made me nervous, but it everything has since settled in nicely.
Had the same problem after first rotation, goes away quickly. Have done 3 more rotations since then and nothing.

well i took it to the dealer and to add to their stupidity that i've already gotten from them they explained to me that it was because i had excess mud and such that had developed in the inner part of the rim and that caused it to be off balanca. i explained to them that it happened as i left the dealer and *****ed as to why they didn't clean the mud off then. i then made them balance them and they still turned out to be off balance and the tire pressure was at 40 psi so whoever rotated them the first time also overinflated them. anyways i will be calling GM this week to complain about the service at that dealership
