A ? for all you Forced Induction fanatics

A friend of mine told me about his homemade ghetto "turbo" he made by splicing the fan from a hair dryer into his CAI and setting it on the "Cold" option. Any chance this crazy/ghetto idea would work? Seems like it would act more like a cheap blower.

http://www.cardomain.com/id/305kasper I used to know a link that made this funny!...but any way there is units like the e-ram on the market....when u realize how much cfm of air your motor can suck in at wot, compared to how much the hair drier or whatever can produce, they cant even keep up with the motor. ......

Must be, and with a crappy toro leaf blower at that! Who would have thought? Too bad he was too short sited to realize he would need a really damn long extension cord to run his quarter miles lol
