Is anyone else sick of Ford Mustangs?

It just seems like you cannot sneeze without spitting on a stock, piece of crap Mustang. And no matter who drives them, they think they are the greatest fastest cars on the road. I have driven one before and they drive like total crap. Anyone else sick of Mustangs? (The stock Mustang drivers are ruining it for the people who actually went out and spent the money for the SVTs, Cobra's and Salines)

I agree, the Mustang is over palyed. Everytime I see one, it is driven by a woman. I think it strange that a "muscle car" is predominantly driven by women. Not that women are bad drivers or shouldn't drive fast cars (which the Mustang isn't)

the stock 3.8 on newer years of the mustang has 200 ponies, up from the earlier years 140hp. the 3.8 has loads of low end grunt. the older mustangs with the 3.8v6 even powered thunderbirds, some ford taurus's. ive driven some 1960 mustangs with a 289 v8 and the newer 3.8s have twice the grunt as they did. my guess is that everyones oppion of a muscle car whould differ.

Mustangs are here to stay, the Camaro and Trans-Am f-bodies are dead. Why do you think that is? Mustangs are a great sports car, I mean the GT, Cobra, SVT, Mach-1, Bullitt, and on and on.If I could have a summer only car it would be a Mustang Mach-1. But I need a car for the whole year with four doors…hence the WRX.

You do know that Ford has plans to change the face of the Mustang? The body hasn't changed for many years and really dates back to the original. With the shrinking market for that type of car, I would bet that Ford my change things around with the next major redesign. I really do miss the F-body GMs though. I always wanted to get a Trans Am WS6, but that cars got worse over the years and now they are gone. When I mean worse, I'm speaking about the care and detail which hurt the reliability of the car. Plus they started to look like a bigger Cavalier on the inside.

Its a good "go-fast-for-cheap" car that I have little respect for. If my Vibe had a v8 in it, it would be fast too. I have driven them and was pleased how it drove, though somewhat "jittery" as far as the automatic was concerned. P.S. Same reason why people buy hondas. I have never much liked mustangs and disliked them even more when I had my Pontiac Formula but this years Mustang Cobra is pretty nice and it's got a supercharger 390 HP!It's got a 0 to 60 of 4.5 seconds. That's better than a Vette and close to a twin turboed 911.Ford has plans to up the Hp to more than the top end Vette which is making 405HP!

That is why I got the WRX….a $20,000 car with a $10,000 engine. It looks cool too, and has AWD. “All at prices cho kan afford” the good old day are now.

I respect the WRX because it isn't posing as a muscle car. The Stang has been a "Sports-Car" for a long time now, and has given up the muscle car title in my opinion. But it's still plenty fast.AWD, turbo, and 4-doors make the WRX a way more balanced machine that still lets you haul yer friends and groceries. Was looking at them, but the vibe was much cheaper. Best part about the WRX? You can race on street, dirt, grass, mud, whatever....
