I was hoping to get the stereo with the cassette too, but it is not available for the pontiacs. I priced one at a toyota dealership and it was somewhere around 500 bucks american! I said "see Ya".If you look closely at pictures and descriptions of the matrix and vibe interiors, you'll notice a few minor differences. The matrix has some pieces, like the door handles and the button on the ebrake, shiny like the metal-look inserts on our doors. The matrix also has fabric on the rear doors like our front ones. That is not on the matrix base model though. This is the same as our vibes, plastic. I'm sure there are a few more differences, others may know better than I.

If you want one, look on http://www.ebaymotors.com I've seen one or two listed for sale. They sell for a much lower price than from the dealer.

My 2003 Vibe Base Auto 2-tone Salsa "SalsaWagon" was built in May 2002. I acquired it in Feb 2004/Traded it in on a 2016 Honda HR-V in Feb 2018.

I'm sure that most of you have had success with ebay too. I did buy some old Garfield videos from ebay once, but was worried the whole time that I had wasted my money. If I want something used, I would like to go to a junkyard or maybe buy from the paper from someone local. Just feels safer.
