so i'm looking at ebay checking out anything for our vibes and someone's golf clubs are on there, going for $800 usd. i'm thinking golf clubs? (removed)! so i click on it.... and then what do you know, he's calling our vibes sh*tty! now in comparison to a top of the line mercedes, really you are looking at 2 diff types of vehicles. but overall price and quality, the vibe is a much better VALUE than an $80K car! because that $80K car is still gonna break down later down the road and it's going to cost a lot more to fix than our vibes! so this guy isn't even comparing apples to apples here! he's saying he's a stuck up (removed) that is stupid because he's willing to pay $80K for a car that still breaks down unless you never drive it! kinda like his gold clubs he paid $1400 CAD for and rarely used! what a moron! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA...&rd=1
Bad analogies and no clue about what counts. The reason to buy a set of Pings or a Mercedes has to do with design and features. The materials Ping uses are the same as you can buy from a component catalog. I can't believe he's talking about the 17/4 steel quality like another 17/4 alloy might break. If you like a quite, leather, torquey, expensive car with prestige a Mercedes is fine but expect it to be much less reliable than a Vibe. At least the dealers treat them great.
Vibe GT, TRD springs, Progress bar, STB, Unichip, Borbet E 16x7.5, 225/50 Bridgestone RE750, beefed up grounds and battery bypass capacitors(had em laying around)
Probably spent all that money and used them once. And since they didn't lower his golf score any he is selling them and giving up. Kinda like buying a two foot tall carbon fiber wing for your car and losing a drag race so you sell your car. I sent him an e-mail that I owned a Vibe and I like it and to (removed) off.
What an idiot. I bet he's just bitter because he blew his down payment for a new Vibe on a set of golf clubs that weren't magical like he thought they would be. Too bad, Renaud. I almost feel bad for you now that you're stuck driving that rusted out 1993 Geo Metro.

Every member here should go to the "Ask Seller A Question"page on E Bay and ask him why he calls the Vibe Shi##y. I already have and lets have fun and bombard him and I'll bet he will change his wording. Vibe
Hello Renaud Tremblay.I was going to place a bid on your golf clubs, but would have to transport them in my Pontiac Vibe to the course. So, I bought a set of Ping Knock-Offs for $99 USD.

Just because you see Charlie doesn't mean I am a he....sometimes Charlie can be a she!!!!
My Question for "I'm a (removed)" seller:"So that means it's like to compare a 138 000 $ car (let's say a Mercedes-Benz CL 2003 at 132 500$) and a 20 000$ car( let's say a ****ty Pontiac Vibe 2003 at 19 850" What makes you think that Vibe's are "****ty"? Have you ever driven one? have you ever sat in one? Maybe we should all come take a big crap in your mercedes and putt big pieces of crap with your Ping clubs. Basically, Don't knock things that you don't know about. Maybe thats why no one bids on your "Owned by a (removed)" golf clubs.
2006 MazdaSpeed6 GT which is for sale if anyone is interested...
I, too, ran across this ad whilst doing my daily "Vibe Stuff" search on ebay. As, many of you have already done, I sent him this reply:Quote »Mr. Tremblay:Your use of the word "shi**y" to describe a Pontiac Vibe is offensive and illogical. That you would compare a Mercedes Benz to a Pontiac gives some insight into why you might be selling the Ping's; you obviously thought that spending a lot of money would improve your game. Following your logic, since the clubs are incapable of breaking 85, I doubt they're worth anywhere near the $800CAN/$583US you're asking. Also, a brand new set of Ping G2 Black Steel Stiff Flex 3-PW irons can be had for about $758US/$1036.93CAN (theworldofgolf.com), meaning your original 6.9:1 ratio is incorrect. It would be more like 5.2:1. In which case, I would challenge you to show me a $103,693-priced vehicle with the same cargo capacity AND gas mileage as a Pontiac Vibe.Kind of ridiculous, isn't it? Therefore, please remove the Mercedes Benz-Pontiac comparison from your ad. It does nothing to help your cause. Think I need a cigarette...
Are your clubs all in good shape? how big are the clubheads? are they large enough to shove up your rear end? There are a few people I know who would LOVE to have these clubs, myself included, but since you don't know how to use a good comparison (Vibe = ****ty) I'll just bid on a different set.The email has been sent.

But the only difference from the ones on the picture is that they've been used for 4 rounds of golf and they are black dot instead of blue dot. Mission accomplished folks!
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!
Well, how 'bout that? Maybe I'm just too polite, but I actually sent the guy another message telling him "thanks" for revising his ad.Wow, today we're changing Ebay ads. Maybe tomorrow we can flood the White House with some suggestions on foreign policy...

Some of the suggestions and ideology I've seen floated on here, if implemented, would make me feel unsafe living in Antarctica. But I'm not allowed to talk about it. >
