Cash rebate now on Vibe

I just found out that GM is offering $500 cash back when you buy a new vibe. This can be combined with 4.9% financing for up to 60 months. So, for anyone out there that ordered a Vibe and has not received it yet, YOU ARE ELIGIBLE to receive the cash back.

Thanks for the tip! I'm picking mine up maybe this weekend, or next week at latest. Does that only apply to retail financing (vehicle purchase) or can leasees get it too?

Anybody know if the rebate applies to Vibes purchased (not leased) in Canada? Mine is on the train from NUMMI right now.

I just picked my car up last night, and the extra $500 was a plesant surprise. Along with $1000 GM card rebate and $400 college grad discount, I'm happy.

I was about to cancel the order but GM assured me it would be built in the week of June 24 and actually told me the truth. Couldn't find another car that suited our needs like the Vibe. Should be delivered by the end of July. Also at 6'3" I am too tall to fit in a lot of the competition!

In the Northeast USA it is $500 AND 4.9% GMAC Financing (If qualified). Scheduled to run til 9-3-2002.

I had it delivered from another dealership that had all the options I wanted. I comprimised on color a bit (white instead of blue), but I didn't want to wait 6 weeks plus.

The financing rate I was shown was 4.9% for 5 years.My lease rate for 4 years is 6.4%! I had no idea the lease rate would be that high.

He worked out what it would be to purchase it and it was $120/month more so I passed on that and went with the lease.
