Cosmo CAI

Post by Sub-Vibe-R »

I've got a good deal on a Cosmo CAI for my Vibe. The only thing remaining is to choose the color.Which one should I get to fit my salsa vibe. The red or the polished one?

Red, of course! The only reason why I didn't buy a Cosmo CAI is b/c of CA C.A.R.B. regulations. I believe AEM and Injen (probably K&N too) are the only C.A.R.B.-exempt intakes.

I would go with red as well. I like adding color under the hood. WOOHOO!!! 2000 posts! (Just had to add that in there.)

I got a very good deal on it. Bran new in the bax, directly from the seller for $160 Canadian all included, local pick up.If I'd take it off e-bay, it cost me close to $215 after shipping, exchange rate and taxes.

Do they have red and polished in stock? I contacted them 2 weeks ago and they only had blue so I decided to wait a while.

I got my CAI... Very nice. I cannot wait to install it... But I'll have to find time and place to do it.Finally I choose the red one and it is the same color as my Vibe.So it will fit my car and my hairs!

DO NOT BUY FROM COSMO.they are the worst at returning comments. They sent me the wrong one, and when I sent it back, they sent it back again, saying I shipped it wrong.. and that's after 2 weeks of me e-mailing them without getting a response

A lot of us, including me, had a great service with them. Are you sure it's the wrong one? My friend and I tough that, but we were wrong cause we were not placing it proberly, so it was impossible to fit it on the engine... check this out carefully...

My friend with his trix bought a brand new Cosmo CAI for $100 plus $15 shipping :-D I paid a bit more for my Injen intake like 80 more lol but I love it I've never really paid attention to the intake noise, muffler noise is way more distracting and beautiful to listen to hehe

If you check any modification that adds horsepower, it usually costs about $25.00 per HP. It must be some kind of conspiracy.

John c it is all about the supply and demand bro that is what elevates the cost of everything. Anyone seen a CAI on an 04 GT yet I have yet to see or here of anyone putting one on. I want one but want to make sure that it is going to fit properly. Later
