Got my Vibe !

Hi, I just got my Vibe, a silver one. It's so nice... But I already got a scratch on the hood A little dark scracth form, I suppose, a rock (the hood deflector is not that good I guest). So, how can I fix it ? Tuch up paint ? Or is there a other mirracle stuff ?

Hurray! Another Canadian with a Vibe. Congratulations Sorry about the wound. Yes you are going to want touch up paint, got to keep the salt out. No miracles I know of, deflector shields are only on star trek. Where did you get your hood deflector?

I got it form the dealer. I guest I will have to order some tuch up paint. Aggg !. Anyway, I love the look of the hood deflector on it. Also, I didn't have my Automatic Shift-lock cover (well, I didn't find it yet), so I guest I will have a few thing to order . The guy the the part department (and HE own a Vibe) didn't beleive me there suppose to be a cover there. I will have to talk to my dealer...

Funny that you can get yours from your dealer. see http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=1001 Could you possibly, pretty please, ask your dealer for the GM part # for us. Our dealers have said they don't exist, but they also denied all knowledge about the molded mud flaps After getting the part # from the U.S. they were able to search on the part # even though it was not listed for the Vibe.

Ok, I will try to find out the part number. I don't know if it's a hood defector for the Vibe specificaly or a "generic" one... Anyway, I look great (sorry, I don't have a digital camera yet).

Hey, anyone have the part number for the Automatic Shift-lock cover at GM ??? I think they don't even know that part exist at my dealer... I can buy it form Toyota, but, I just want to show the guy that darn cover exist !

I don't know the part number, but definitely order it from Toyota. It is the exact same thing and at GM it's US$12 and Toyota its US$2. Big difference.

Well, I call me dealer today, and he say he doesn't know what hood deflector they put on my car ! The guy at the part doesn't event know himself, because there's no hood deflector for the Vibe yet in there database... So, what, they put something on my car that doesn't exit ?!? I don't mind, because it look good... But, I will try to find exactly what they put on my Vibe. If I have the chance, I will try to take a picture of it. I got it free form them, so, it's no big deal.
