Found this over at SRTforums. Evidently this guy in the Honduh claimed he could be an SRT-4 to 60 and recorded himself trying to do so...all the while, letting everyone know when the good 'ol "VTEC" kicked in! Seemed to help! HA!!! So an SRT owner decided to give it a try on the non-vtec SRT-4....this makes for quite a laugh! http://dvmix.com/data/VTECpowaVsSRT-4.wmv Some people crack me up!
ROFL. The sarcasm is killing me! The kid in the Honduh must really be an idiot.

I don't understand what the deal is with people saying this. Has a the same body style as a neon, yes, but the rest, I feel is far from it. It obviously has the attention of all the other auto companies. You watch, this will be the car that starts the new muscle car era!

All they did was different hood, spoiler, and dual exhaust. If you didn't like the way the regular ones look this shouldn't make you change your mind but hey I don't think they are being purchased for their LOOKS.

And it's actually been dyno proven that Dodge is underrating the horsepower! I believe I read on the SRT forums that one actually dynoed 260 BONE STOCK! Not conerned with the looks. As long as it has a nice @ss when it flies by you to look at!

I think the video is a fake. A stock civic dx can do 0-60 in 8seconds. So if he really had a k20 in there, he would have done much better.

uh, look at the tach...and where did you get the 8 secs.? K20A3 is in the RSX and 2002+ Civic Si, the K20A2 is in the RSX-S. The tach and the shift point he shifted at seem to be a base RSX or Si. I just think he was tool...even if it would have been the Type S, no way he was gonna hang. And after driving my business partner's Type S several times, the iVTEC doesn't hit NEAR as hard as our lift does. Although, it is easier to land in the sweet spot, it isn't gonna take a SRT...I guess I don't see how it could be fake...what would be the reasoning and why?

I'm just saying that if I were driving a civic with a k20, it would have been a faster run. I got the eight seconds from the combination of a watch and the video. And my stock '95 Civic DX does 0 - 60 in about 8 seconds.
