that's just aluminum mesh. i'll be getting something similar to cover my grills since i lost one of the lower ones. cheaper to do it that way then having to order the billet grill and lower grill insert. plus, i'll need something to hide some of the "band aids" i'll have.

you can get that stuff from the hardware store for less that $29. Just ask for aluminum mesh for cages.

hey thanks! because i went to lowes a few weeks ago and couldn't think of what you call the stuff. they just stared at me blankly. had no idea what i was talking about and i was getting extremely frustrated. i'll have to go ask for that now.

It is also called "Gutter Guard". It just screams P-I-M-P when the cheaper stuff rusts, so careful what you get.

YUCK!!! Rice-a-rific!Reminds of the "Pimp My Ride" on M freakin' TV where they totally ruined the '81 Trans Am with similiar "grill inserts"...not too much other horrific "pimptastic" pieces...ie 20" rims, chandalier and pearl paint...Not my thing, AT ALL!

AND gutterguard keeps those pesky leaves from clogging the grill!

My 2003 Vibe Base Auto 2-tone Salsa "SalsaWagon" was built in May 2002. I acquired it in Feb 2004/Traded it in on a 2016 Honda HR-V in Feb 2018.
