it's spring time in alaska finally! beautiful weather the last few days and so i thought it'd be fun for everyone to post some pics of their lovely landscape where they live! can be pics of your province, or state, but preferably nearby where you actually reside.here are some pics i took on new years snowboarding at alyeska resort in girdwood, ak. it's about an hour away from here. i've already posted some pics in this thread that i took yesterday and last night.

That is beautiful. Too bad Alaska has to be so damn cold. I am from Iowa so I know what cold is, and I can barely stand the four months of sub freezing temps we have here. I will post some pics of Iowa City landscape tommorrow when I have daylight.

Here is a little contrast to Alaska...the Arizona desert. It has already broke 100. This is my "weekend vehicle" it does a little better off-road than the Vibe, but sure doesn't get the mileage!

JohnC, I plan on spending my winter months in AZ sometime in the future. I was there a couple years ago and it's a great place to be.

Ok guys, I'm getting really frustrated with trying to post pics. Can someone point me in the right direction for the how to? I swear I'm doing it right but it never works for me.

also check and make sure the size isn't too big. i know i've tried attaching pics that were too big. but, here's a thread that joatman wrote that will also explain how to attach pics or post images.

very nice! well, i will have tons more pics from memorial weekend. have a visitor coming and we'll be going all over the place including seward, girdwood, kenai, and denali. i love the mountains!
