What do you think of my brake calipers !!!!!!

Well this week decided to paint my caliper. I cleaned them real well with sandpaper and soapy water.Then painted them with 3 coats of High Temp Primer. Then I put on 3 coats of Red High Temp paint. Then I had ordered a set of Pontiac decals that go on the caliper itself. Stuck them on and then put 2 coats of a clearcoat. Think they look great and can not wait to see them with a set of Mille Miglia EV-R 18's. The Pontiac decals really make the caliper look very Porsche like!!!! DCIM100MSDCFDSC00079.JPG

ya, i am hoping to get some custom decals from grafxwerks when i actually have time to measure the calipers... but the calipers look great!

I got my from XexonMods.com. The guys name is Rich and he is a really nice guy that really seems to take pride in his work and will stand by his product. You can order them in many diffrent colors and I believe you can have them made to say what ever you want. I thought about having my say Vibe GT and then thought that it saying Pontiac would look more factory like.If any one is interested his email is rjcalnan@xenonmods.com. I payed $11.99 for 6 decals with shipping. I think it is a great deal and it really adds detail to the caliper

That looks really good. I just ordered a set for me this morning. I don't think I will be able to get a decal on the rear calipers though. That's alright, the are small and you can't see them as much as the fronts.

did you just paint the front calipers? I was wondering how it would look with just the front painted sinse the rear are drum.

I painted both the fronts and the rears calipers.On the GT's its 4 disc brakes all around. I had a black 1997 Z24 Cavailier that had drums in the rear and it looked great with the drums painted red too. With your Vibe being black I think the red calipers make it look MEAN .

i saw your posting at 12 this afternoon then at 1 pm i satarted doin it and by 730 i was done with three coats of red heat temp paint and two clearcoats
