HELP! I need some help installing Progress Anti-Sway Bar

Post by fuente2000 »

I could really use everyones help. I just got my Progress anti-sway bar and was all excited to get installed but I cannot for the life of me remove the bolts holding the old bar.I'm assuming the top nut is spot welded and won't turn and only the bottom bolt gets undone. I know it's a 20mm socket and I'm using a breaker bar to get it undone but I can get it to budge. Am I doing something wrong???? It seems like a very easy installation so I don't understand. Can any shed some light on this???Thanks,Alex

I figured it out. The top nut is not spot welded. Finally got off and the new Progres bar on.Just wish I had waited a little while until the damn muffler cooled down... ouch!Alex
