I bought this kit off of Rick (raamaudio). He's on mo.com. He built the kit himself. It has a Turbonetics T3 super 60 turbo with internal wastegate. 3 in downpipe to highflow cat to 2.5 in exhaust with one resonator. Spearco intercooler, greddy blowoff valve, greddy profec b boost controller. Lots of goodies. I have a few small bugs to work out, then I will be getting it tuned and dynoed. As soon as thats done, I will post the dyno.

Oh yeah, gotcha. I don't plan on it anytime soon. I don't ahve a problem with letting my car idle for a minute or two to let the oil run thru.

That was Rick's personal kit off of his "infamous" RAAMAudio Matrix. Very well engineered kit. Very smart guy from what I've and heard. Built the kit himslef. This is now the Vibe to beat. Would be interesting to see Devlop and Faultline do a little side-by-side action! If you're looking for a kit, look up Stafford Fabrications. They build one for the 1ZZ, and supposedly have one in the makings for the 2ZZ.

Well, I'm having issues with the fuel system, but I did get a dyno at 5 pounds. I hit 186hp and 190tq at the wheels. I have a 5th injector now, but will be taking that out and running a stronger fuel sytem for the four original injectors. I might be testing a prototype fuel setup made by monkeywrench. I haven't decided if I'm gonna go that route. I will keep everyone posted. When everything is tuned right, I will be running 10 pounds and hopefully some really good numbers. I also want to add that monkeywrench racing has given a great amount of help and effort towards me in solving my problems. Great place to deal with.

Great place to deal with. congrats!!!...I used to be the only turboed vibe on the boards, but now i have a cousin!!!.. Isnt it awsome??Just so you know, I have the same size turbo...t3 super 60, with internal waste gate...I beilieve its a great set up!....My fuel set up is Staffords own , and it works with stock injectors...and it runs pig rich...but if you already have the 5the injectcor...why fool with it???I simply have not been to the dynoes for over a year, and have not dynoed at 10psi, I have run up to 12 on accident, I can adjust my boost., but 10 psi is pretty funly insane!...4th gear pulls like 3rd...its nuts...right now my stock clutch wont hold that kind of power....I try not to visit the MWR web site, because all I see dangling in front of me is that quaife LSD, ACT clutch, MWR cromolly flywheel , Crower Rods, Wiseco pistons, Iron sleeves...and some friendly guy named Matt, who would be happy to sell them to me, and send me into bankruptsy ...what kind of fuel problems are you having?????

They just got a celica gt running 300hp. That's crazy. It's pretty sweet though. The problem I am having is that the first cylinder is getting too much fuel and it misfires. Matt thinks that the fuel from the fifth injector is not fully atomizing and is spraying across the intake and ending up in the first cylinder. That's why we're gonna do away with the fifth injector. He's supposed to call me within a day or so when he has his prototype system ready to be installed. I am probably gonna leave my ar with him for a couple of days while he installs it. He said he'll dyno and tune for free since I am letting him use my car to test the new system. We'll see what happens. As of now, it seems to run good. We replaced the fifth over the weekend cuz the old one was really old. Didn't seem to correct the problem though. I can't wait til its golden though, my car will be lots of fun.

I let the car Idle , and the time depends on how long it has been since I last boosted...I use 3 minutes from last spooling as a measure, . if it has been that long when I arrive somewhere, then I turn off the motor right away, . If I turned the last corner at WOT, then I wait a bit to turn it off.

I can obtain a number of Garret reconditioned factory warranty turbo's for $100 a piece, so would anyone be able to figure out the final cost of the installation and parts minus the turbo? Any help is appreciated, thanks

Any help is appreciated, thanks this is what I know:Before I went to SF, befor there were any kits , I had my own sketch plan to go custom at a low cost. I went to a muffler shop , the owner built his own turbo set up, he agreed to build me a manifold and down pipe for 550.00. To build me all the Ic plumbing it was 600.00,.. The ic would cost around 450.00...a short ram intake was about 100.00 for the turbo. Bov another 100.00. ..I researched fuel management, and decidedt to go withe the Split second ftc-1 unit.550.00.--fuel timing control unit- to install and tune about 200.00 initially. To run this unit you need new larger injectors=500.00...If you add this up so far, you are up to 2650.00 , then add your turbo.....now, ...I did not try to exagerate any of the costs,....this is the shrewd route , and is missing a few unknowns, in my case, i was going to buy a reman t3 for 550, and anther 50.00 to make an adapter plate for the turbo flange...So I was up to 3250.00 , and this was a project under my direction, no one taking any real responsibility for it going right...just me ...Then I went to SF who offered to make me the prototype for a kit ..at 3300.00.(.the cost of the kit,)Someon who has made custom setups for a gazillian applications ..Turbos, SC's and nitrous set ups. ...It was a no brainer for me to do the latter...I reccomend the SF kit...
