Post by Vibe2386 »

I would like to know if anyone had the tein coilovers for the vibe and wanted to ask how the ride was, with it all the way down. Is it a very stiff ride. Also how are Ground control coilovers i was thinking about getting them also. Sry bout all the questions Thanks Nick

Check out Devlop's car. He has Teins. There are also a lot of Matrix people who have them.

Ya Devlop has a set. I've rode in his car a bunch times and its nice. really nice, the Tein's are a full sleeve coil-over were you can adjust the damping to either make it a soft ride or a stiff ride, plus adjustable the ride height. the ground control's are just coil overs that use the stock shocks and are only adjustable ride height (plus without a progressive spring rate it maybe a fairly bouncy ride.) hope it helps

Yep, I got them. I love them. The great thing about them is that you can change the dampening, so whatever height you set them at, the ride quality can be at any preference. I have the height about 3/4" from the lowest setting. Gives a good height and I still have decent ground clearance.
