New member of my family

Post by MJN2 »

I've been researching, deliberating, and otherwise agonizing over the past few months about what kind of dog I wanted to bring home. My short list was down to Belgian Sheepdog, German Shepherd, Siberian Husky, or Bernese Mountain Dog. Well, here is what I decided on. I picker her up Saturday afternoon, and haven't got a full night's sleep since lol. I'll be happy when she sleeps through the night, that is for sure

Oh so cute! I had a siberian husky once - he was purebred, but he was a red one, instead of the normal black/grey white kind. He was the best dog ever!!

Man, I have 4 dogs, combined weighing in at about 180. I couldn't imagine 1 dog at 120.

A 120 pound Malmute = Big fuzzy pillow when you're napping on the living room floor She was a good, laid back dog, as long as you didn't make her mad or make a threatening motion towards me. If you did either of those, lord help you

My parents had a Malmute/Wolf hybrid until he passed away last year. He weighed around 140 or so when he was in his prime. Was probably around 110 when he died. Lived 12 years. Long time for a dog that size.
