YeeeeeeeeHawwwwww! In Texan, that means "Hot Dang!"Got my new Vibe -- and first ever new car -- last night from Lawrence Marshall Pontiac/GMC in Houston. What started as an unpleasant experience ended up being about as great as could be expected. May be premature (since it's less than 24 hrs), but I highly recommend Dan Murray, their Internet Sales Manager. Very professional. Here are the specs:2004 Vibe Base - AbyssAutomatic4-Wheel AntilockMonotone16" Aluminum WheelsPower PackageSport Package (Ground FX and Spoilers)XM Satellite RadioA lot more than I was originally shopping for, but with $7000 in total discounts, I couldn't pass it up. That knocked 1/3 off the price.I'm already undergoing "mod fever" and can't wait to get started. Think the windows are getting tinted first....Looking forward to being a genuine GenVibe member...-Glenn
I'm a fellow TX viber... Can I steal your body kit and spoilers from you... I've been wanting those since i first saw them in a pontiac catalog after I bought my abyss GT. MORE PICS!!!!
2006 MazdaSpeed6 GT which is for sale if anyone is interested...
No. I virtually stole them from the dealership as it was. Still can't believe I got $7000 off the MSRP:$3000 Dealership discount$2000 GM Rebate$1000 Conquest Rebate$1000 Bonus Cash (whatever that is)-Glenn
That has to be the largest off MSRP number I've ever heard of on a new Vibe.Quote, originally posted by ZubenElGenubi »No. I virtually stole them from the dealership as it was. Aaron, you're reading my mind! Window tint happens next week. Hella supertones and mudflaps (courtesy of fellow genvibe member Kelly, aka VibeNRide) installed shortly after that.I'm still not sure about the springs, but I'm leaning to the Eibach Pro-Kit. It doesn't drop as much as the Sportline, but I don't think I need much with the existing ground fx.BTW, love your Vibe...Triton's a great name, too. -Glenn
