Specialty tint question

Post by Merzbow »

Today I saw a piece of trash pick up with an AWSOME tint job. You know the tint that is greenish-blue mirror and it fades to black at the top? Well this truck at that kind of tint except it was red fading to black. i think that would look amazing on my Vibe since I am going with the red and black theme...perhaps someone knows a place that sells this kind of tint and if it is good tint that wont come off easily. Also how much would tint like that cost to install and buy?

wal-mart sells it, as well as any professional tinting place. Check to make sure it's legal in your state before installing. You don't want to have to peel it off two days after applying.

Yeah, you're right. I would have to take it off...I wish the state's didn't have such dumb laws...what's next, banning custom wheels and racing seats?I got a quote for regular black tint for $150 I think I'll do that...that would be number 3 on my list of things to do

That law is mostly there to protect the police. It is really hard to see what is going on in the car when the tint reflects all the light. The cop could be walking into a nut with a gun.

mirror tint, and eat shift third brake light. yeah cops love me. 2 of my friends have basically the same tint all of us have had ours over a year and there is only one ticket between us. i just paid mine one got out of his(for now).legal tint is to light so even if you get black tint if its dark enough to be cool its illegal anyway. you know the saying "you gotta pay to play"imho its worth it.
