Best prices for exhaust?

Post by DopeVibeGT »

Ok, before I go spend more than I need to...again, LoL, is $325, including S&H, the cheapest for the Borla exhaust for the Vibe GT? Also, anyone see some coil overs vore the vibe. I want a little more drop than 1.8" on the Vibes high ride height. Thanks.

Custom exhaust and a flowmaster muffler. This is my plan anyway. It will be about 1/4 the cost of the TRD exhaust and I can make it a TRUE cat back exhaust unlike the axle back TRD exhaust.

I do like the sound of the flow 50's. But, I was looking for something simple *I* can do....you know, bolt on. Bolt off.

I believe the main difference is the size of the pipe. With a cat back, you can replace the whole exhaust with a larger diameter exhaust. With a axle back, it's just from the axle back. I dont know if their is that much of a gain between the two. I do know 2 chamber mufflers like flows give noticable low end power when used with a CAI.As for Dynomax, I dont buy them. I had duals on my GA, and within a year, the insides rusted and blew apart.

I must say that I really like the GMD and Borla exhaust sound. But if I am spending that much cash, I am getting a high flow CAT and flomaster 60. I just don't see the point of shelling out hundreds of dollars if you exhaust is "Bottle-Necked" at the catalytic converter. I have, and always will go to "Herks" in MI for any exhaust.
