Cargo area coverings, Take II

Post by kostby »

I need to move a lawn mower in my Vibe every week during mowing season, so I was looking for some way to protect the 'cargo' area, and keep loose grass from getting all over the seats. Indoor-outdoor carpeting and the like would only protect the floor.I found this gray reinforced tarp at Big Lots. They come in a variety of sizes. 6' x 8', folded in half, is just about right for what I needed, allowing me to cover the floor and fold it up over the top of the mower to keep loose stuff from blowing around. It doesn't show up well in this scan, but the gray color matches the cargo area plastic panels perfectly!Best of all it was only US$3.99!

The Jimmy Hoffa Signature Tarp is only a few dollars more! This is pretty far OT, but...My father worked in New Jersey for a time in a plant allegedly run by the mob. Always talked about the supervisor who left work on a Friday, and never returned! He finally saw the guy years later in south Florida, alive!
