I didn't get to catch the action cause i was at work all day, but it seemed very eventful. The Lions had one of the best draft days i've seen. I'm also glad to see Eli got traded to the Giants where he wanted to be in the first place.

The Lions did great today and always seem to do well on paper, but just wait until they start playing. Thats when they really start to stink. GO Lions!!!

i'm surprised the lions got kevin jones with their second pick. i was kinda hoping they'd get him with their first pick, but was pretty happy to see him still around for their second pick.i can't believe what a cry-baby eli manning is. just take your multi-million dollar contract and play in san diego. it's not like san diego is a bad team. the climate is better, they've got a stud RB, and now they'll probably be better than NY in a few years because of all that they got in trade for eli. the giants gave up too much for him, i think.i also think the owners should get together and make it so that rookies get league minimum for their first year, and then they can renegotiate their contracts. teams lose way too much money paying these draft picks that never produce.same with the NBA.sorry, just venting.

I watched most of the draft, after about the 23rd pick, I started switching back and forth from the Red Wings game, to the Pistons game, to the Draft.I didn't even realize that we got 2 first rounder's until late saturday evening. Anyhow, Detroit did have an awesome draft, and I'm really excited for this next season. I'm predicting a 9-7 record, and we'll finally break that on the road losing streak in the first game against the Chi-town Bears.San Diego did the right thing by drafting Eli Manning. I think he would have stepped up and quit being a baby when the season boiled down to it. He's a baby, and he got his bottle. Luckily for San Diego, they got a hell of a deal for giving him back said bottle.
