Need a real Mechanic/Tech to look at this.

Post by elrodvoss »

Ok. I want someone to look at this and tell me how messed up this is. I would love to believe something like this, but its soo hard too.http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA...photoIts an auction for a hydrogen booster for any car. I can vaguely understand the concept of it, but I dont believe that it could be that easy. Then again, I have seen some nice boosts with just simple mods on vibes. Can anyone give me some tech. info on this device.

If it does work, it will not increase HP. Only fuel economy since it will be burning hydrogen in lieu of gasoline. Haven't heard of anybody doing this, but I'd have to see it to believe it.

Bogus Scam Ripoff... If it was that easy, we wouldn't have troops over in Iraq. Take a look at his feedback also.

I'd like to see this contraption on a car, I'll bet it works! it just looks crude.and his bad feedback was from Items he bought not what he sold. seems people are happy with his Items.

Therre's one picture showing a clear hose going into a stock airbox, so I'm guessing it put's hydrogen in the air stream. I don't see how you could hook up something like that in a computer controlled fuel injection vehicle and expect the computer to automatically reduce gasoline injection to only 17% of the unmodified gas injection. I don't have enough confidence in the makers of the car's computer to program it to deal with something like this.Maybe when he gets his patent and some financial backing and some public evaluation of the technology, it might be something that turns out to be cost effective. Then again., maybe by then you'll be able to buy a Black & Decker Mr. Fusion

There are half a dozen companies I know of selling similar systems for the big tractor-trailer rigs. Their economy and power claims are a bit more modest (~15%), but some are charging five figures for the systems! (Maybe it has something to do with how much you spend per year on fuel.)They all claim patents pending or granted, and all are pretty much alike: They use 12 V. power to electrolyse water into hydrogen and oxygen and feed it into the air cleaner duct. The amounts are tiny; less than one tenth of one percent, and I have yet to find anyone, including their own experts, who are able to provide a theory on how it works. I have seen test data of from 5% to 50% plus hydrogen mixed with gasoline or CNG and none showed any such magic. I guess it's not impossible that such a tiny whiff could do something, but it sure doesn't seem likely...

A contraption like that would be cool though if it worked. I'll still pass.

I also agree with joatman, i'm not sure how todays ecm will hand the new injected hydrogen. Will the ECM feed the same amount of fuel?Another concern for me would be the Force Induction, it may blow my engine if it were to compress H2 instead of atmospheric air.

You took the words right out of my mouth! I couldn't agree more.Having said that, I think the ebay thing is a rip, it seems to good to be true.

The guy's a fruitcake."Conclusion By Lee Brewer and 100% agreed with by J. Bruce McBurney I hope this publication has led you to some interesting discoveries. Not only about high mileage, but about how even what all others call impossible, can sometimes be achieved if we just will apply ourselves. Being a Christian, I give God the glory for allowing me to be able to develop this system. I acknowledge His wisdom and guidance in leading me to this solution. The reason why I believe I was able to achieve this is because the way He has changed my life. Please take the time to read the following. The only other thing I would desire for you to understand from this publication is that God can save you more than money, gasoline, and the environment. He has the power to save your soul (ensure you will be in Heaven). Christ, being perfect, died so He could pay the penalty (because we sin) of eternal torment that you and I would have to suffer forever in Hell. Think on this, let it sink in, and then simply by acknowledging to Him that you know and believe he died for you will ensure you spend eternity with Him. It is that simple. John 3:16 (King James Version of the Bible)."

The guy's a fruitcake.so, just cause this guy is a christian, he's a fruitcake? i wouldn't necessarily say he's a fruitcake. maybe a bit charismatic or evangelistic. but not a fruitcake. because then you would be saying that ALL christians are fruitcakes, and i certainly hope that's not what you are implying! this guy's just passionate about what he believes.but back on topic, i think this device is a joke... maybe maybe you'll see a slight increase, but not like huge amounts. i'd group this in w/ the tornado fuel saver.... i saw some increases, but they weren't anything extreme or dramatic.
