I can't get my sig to show after i updated it? What gives???

Also, when you create/edit a post, there is a line above the POST button that says "Append my signature to this post" You need to have that box checked if you want your signature to show up. Inclusion of signature happens on anindividual post basis, you can show it in some and not in others. Setting the option in the user options screen just affects whether the box gets checked automatically or not. you can turn it on or off for individual posts if you want. try another post, make sure the box is checked.

Ok, now that i have checked the box, will it automatically check the box in the future?

follow the "My Profile" link at the top of the page, go into "user Options", and there is an item for "Append My Signature by Default" that allows you to set the default. If you set it to append, the box will be checked by default. If you say Do not append, the box will come up unchecked by default. just checking or unchecking the box in one particular post will not change the default setting
