I have a 03 Vibe GT! I wan to go with 18's what would be the best tire configuration for all season driving! I don't have a front or rear sway bar so I am worried about the moon roof! Will it be a problem?

Hey, since you have the 16's on there now, why not get a 16" snow tires for the Winter then get a good Summer 18" tire?If you go All-Season and up to 18" Look into the Pirelli P Zero Nero M&S or the Continental ExtremeContact. Through Tirerack, the Pirelli's have better user ratings for all but Hydroplane resistance and Snow traction. I have experience with the Continentals and have found them to be a very good replacement on my Vibe. Although we didn't have a bad Winter, I didn't have much problem on snow or ice. Traction was quite surprising though I was used to a rear wheel drive truck. The Continentals have been very quiet on my Vibe... Smooth on moderately bumpy roads and very comfortable over the highway. The only bad thing is the softer sidewalls. Going with an 18, you'll probably have to make sure the air pressure is a bit higher. I run 36 psi fine. Any more than a cold 36 psi and the Vibe tends to float at higher speeds. I need wider wheels and I'll be better off.People have had problems with their ContiTouringContacts.... These are a much better tire. Wear hasn't been an issue. Have put about 14K on em with very little signs of wear. The Pirellis were my first choice (conti's second) but I bought local and there was only the Conti dealer local. I'm happy with my choice and would probably buy em again.Dave
If you are switching your rims for the winter- you can pretty much go with whatever rubber you want for the summer- i guess it is personal preference- I have had several Tires on my Vibe and for all around driving I would suggest the Toyo Proxes FZ4's over the Dunlop sp9000's and Yokahama Pradas (all the tires I have had)There are a lot of Vibes on this site with 18's ask some of the other members about there tires if you want a better idea
