Update-Noises/Rattles and Squeeks

Just had my Vibe in again for ongoing squeeks and rattles. Dealer found two major squeeks were caused by following...Motor mount undersized causing significant rattles in front end, which appears to be comming from dash, but is actually in the engine compartment with noise travelling through dash.Second major rattle is the rear lift gate gas struts. There is a small ball where the srtut attaches to the glass. The applied a small piece of clear plastic tape to the undersized ball of the strut...noise went away.The rattle in the rear appears to come from the side panels or door, but is in most cases the strut ball.So far, car is quiet...Good luck if this helps out.Bob
