If you have a base Vibe in Ca. send a copy of your receipt to Injen to get your CARB# sticker so you can have a legal intake.

No, when I bought mine it was pending but not approved yet. You don't get a CARB (smog exemption) sticker because you don't live in Ca.

Ummmm this might be a stupid question but why exacly do you need one? I never hear of anyone having to get the sticker. What exacly is the purpose? Also what if I dont have the receipt for the intake. Bought it from Ptuning.com but dont have anything showing I purchased it.

Fax in your receipt from Ptuning and they will send you a sticker with 3m tape to put on the intake. I used my credit card conformation down loaded from my computer. If you don't have one the cops can write you a ticket for illegal mods. Your car will not pass smog with out that sticker and CARB#. Call Injen for info and talk to Ray.

Ok so after reading this post and asking what its for I e-mailed Injen about this and they say they dont have it yet for the Vibe... Here is what they said...The VIBE is still CARB pending, we will have that very soon. Please check http://www.injen.com/carb.html for info on obtaining one when the time comes.So is it out or not? The chart says yes but the person who e-mailed me said no... weird.

if you are concerned about passing emissions inspections, just put your stock airbox back on. that's why i kept all my orig parts this time since i didn't on my tundra. i had a real prob getting it to pass IM due to the CEL issue. ended up costing me $220 to get it turned off long enough to pass the inspection and then came right back on. i didn't keep the factory box so i couldn't put it back in for IM time.

Call them on the phone and talk to Ray. He looked it up and then sent me my # in the mail. The person that emailed you back was wrong. Call them.

It's on their chart but they won't give it to you. You should email them back with that link to their own CARB certification page.
