New to the forum and just purchased a 04 Vibe. Just sold my 99 Camry that I used to take to car shows, plus it won 1st place at Nopi in Atlanta, G.A in 2003. Anyway I was wondering if 20x7.5" wheels with 42mm offset and a 225 / 35 / 20 " tire would fit. Thinking about doing the TIS 02 wheels. I won't to know because I need to get back to showing cars because its killing me to go to show with the club and not showing. Thanks in Advance. Shawn

They would be OK for width and offset, assuming they would bolt up (Vibe bolt pattern is 100 x 5). I couldn't find the diameter of that tire on any of my usual tire sites, but if it's anywhere near stock, say less than 26", it will fit, but with sidewalls that short I wouldn't want to hit anything taller than a cigarette (removed) while actually driving it...
B F Goodrich and Nitto make the 225/35/20. The TIS wheel comes in 5x100 bolt pattern and this size is specially made for the sports compacts and tuner style cars. I seen the 20" TIS 01 wheels on a Mini Cooper, and a 93 Honda Accord with no problem. 19"s isn't out of the question though. It'll be driven for a while until I get close to finishing the project then It'll be trailered or just driven to shows.

Diameter of a 225/35-20 is 26.2". These should fit with no problem, esp. with a 42mm offset.Of course, I assume you'll be layin frame, so you might run into problems there. Good luck on trying something a little different! Looking forward to some pics!
I originally wanted 20's but with the bad roads around here I just went for the 18's instead- Those wheels would look sick though! what color is your vibe?

FrostyGT, that's the same # I got . It's over an inch taller than stock but should fit and slow you down.

I have the two tone / neptune I guess or the navy color one. I have lots of plans for this vehicle. It'll be a while before I have pics of the wheels unless I get sponsored. Hopefully It will be showable by the Nopi Nationals in Atlanta, G.A. I got a Accord getting into my car club with a set of Tis wheels, a different style and he has 225/35/20s and he has no problems with it surprisingly. I know that the Vibe has more fender space than the accord. I originally was going to purchase a matrix but the Vibe front end looks more aggresive.

Well, first you know about the wheels. 19"s or 20"s. Blue and black color scheme in the interior. Blue black real carbon dash kit, blue / black mats, blue tweed or velvet seats and headliner, racing seats in the front with tweed or velet, replace factory carpet for color matching carpet and complete audio system which is undecided at this time. Exterior wise is also undeceided other than lambo doors, only if they're direct bolt on another hood, bodykit and accessories. ENGINE supercharger, toyota corolla strut bar (already installed), injen intake and lots more. I could be here all day naming things but can't let everything out of the bag just yet.

well if you come up w/ some custom body kits other than the gm factory one, we're all eager to get our hands on one! so, maybe you know someone willing to do some r&d w/ yours if you're going to show it! so far, sounds sweet! and i can't wait to see those interior pics... some of us who've spent a lot of time and money on out interiors will just hve to face being over done. oh well! lol.
