Pontiac Performance Magazine

Post by etoop »

Did a search and didn't fine any other posts for thiss.Just got the latest issue in the mail. It has an article about Vibes in it and also about the 2005. But it also has a bold ATTENTION VIBE OWNERS in the corner where it mentions for people to check out GenVibe.com for rallies, new, discussionss, stories, and driving tips on the website.Way to go GenVibe! Pontiac really is watching this website closely.

Well this is rather funny, there was a GM magazine on the counter when I came home but I assumed it belonged to my brother since he sells GM vehicles. So after reading this post that all GM owners get magazines I went and looked and sure enough its addressed to me.But its called MOTION, Life on the road with General Motors.Maybe the canadian issue?

Yes, I believe the Canadian version is named differently (mentioned a little ways down in this thread) and may also contain different articles. Does yours have the GenVibe article? For those that don't receive this, call the number on the Contact page I posted above and see what you can do. I have a contact at the magazine and will see if we can get a group of names together to get the magazine subscription.

Well its seasonal based I believe since my issue is listed "SPRING/SUMMER" so if you just got on the mailing list with your 04 then you may or may not get this issue. And no Nick I didn't see a Vibe article but I just flipped through it quickly, was a large article on SSR cruising in Niagra.

I've attached the article to the original post above. Sorry for the dark pictures... I just did a quick scan to get the article.by the way. Since it had pictures of both the 2004 and the 2005 model I showed my wife the new grill. First thing she says is "Why did they ruin that?"

we sometimes are pretty harsh on GM and Pontiac about a number of things, and to have them still plug genvibe in their magazine says a lot about how great this site is.Nick, this is a sign that you are doing an excellent job. Time to ask the boss for a raise

I've never gotten this magazine. I'll have to look into it.Did you read the article? I found it kind of funny. Here are two of her quotes:"I drive a ridiculous number of miles each week""I used to go through a half-tank of gas each week"A half-tank of gas each week?

Congrats on getting genvibe into Pontiac's rag! That should help boost membership a little. As for people who do not get it, your dealer probably messed something up in processing your paperwork so you do not get it. Just contact them (link was above) and I am sure they will put you on the mailing list!

Just for the record, this is the second or third time that that magazine has mentioned GenVibe. But, I think that issue has the largest plug for us so far.
