Isn't the base vibe suppposed to have remote liftglass release?

Post by vibenorth »

I just received my Vibe. It is the base model with no extras. The brochure shows remote liftglass release as standard equipment, but I don't have it. Any feedback before I go to the dealer?

If you have keyless entry it should be the bottom button(should say "hatch"). Just hold it down until the glass pops open.

I don't have keyless entry and there isn't a button where it is supposed to be.

Do you have the power package? I vaguely remember my salesman pointing it out as an advantage of the power package.

Hmm... If the brochure says power liftglass is included standard, I think it's mistaken. (I'll have to go poke through my brochure to find out.) I believe you only get the power hatch/liftglass release with the Power Package, which you must not have if you don't have keyless entry.
